We're looking for a Product Manager, helping bring new physical products to market for our growing e-commerce brands, CR Fence & Rail and BioShieldUV.
What You'll Do You are the execution engine for product development. The founder sets direction and you the craft. You grind it to completion.
- Supplier & Factory Coordination (~40%) The heartbeat of the job. Products stall when nobody follows up. Your job is to make sure nothing ever waits on us. Own day-to-day communication with our Suppliers — email, Chat, video calls
Chase quotes, samples, production updates, and shipping timelines until they're done
Track every open item with the supplier and follow up relentlessly — nothing falls through the cracks
Coordinate sample rounds: request, receive, log feedback, push revisions
Keep the leadership off factory email threads except for decisions. 2.
Sourcing New
Factories (~20%) Research and shortlist candidate factories for recent products (Alibaba, trade directories, referrals)
Send RFQs, collect quotes, and build clean comparisons: price, MOQ, lead time, capabilities
Run first-contact vetting: sample quality, communication speed, export experience
Present recommendations with your reasoning — not just a list of links 3.
Managing New
Products to Launch (~25%) Maintain the spec for each product in development: dimensions, materials, finishes, packaging, kitting
Track each product's status from idea → quote → sample → revision → PO → production → delivery
Write and manage product instructions, manuals, and assembly guides
Coordinate packaging and labeling requirements with factories and our warehouses 4.
SKU Setup & Handoff (~15%) Get new products into our systems: SKUs, product data, costs, images, documentation
Hand launch-ready packages to the marketplace and content teams (they own listings and creative — you make sure they have everything and chase what's missing)
A product isn't "done" when it ships from the factory. It's done when it's live and selling.
What we are looking for 2–4 years working with physical products — product coordination, sourcing, merchandising, supply chain, or quality roles. You've dealt with real factories, real samples, real shipments.
Experience communicating with Chinese suppliers — you know the rhythm: time zones, holidays, how to write instructions a factory won't misinterpret.
Obsessive attention to detail — a spec with one wrong dimension becomes a container of unsellable product. You catch it before it happens.
Excellent written English — factories, warehouses, and our team all run on your written instructions.
Strong follow-up discipline — you keep your own tracking system and nothing waits on you. Ever.
AI-native working style — we run on Claude and AI tooling for research, drafting, and documentation. If your instinct is to ask AI one question and copy the answer, this isn't the place.
We expect you to think with it.
Curiosity and initiative — you ask why, you propose solutions, you push back when you think we're wrong. We hire people who change our minds.
You're the Right Person If You take ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
You enjoy solving problems and finding better ways of working.
You follow up relentlessly until work is completed.
You communicate confidently with suppliers and internal teams.
You are highly organized and don't let details slip.
You use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to think better and work faster.
You're excited to learn product development, sourcing, and manufacturing directly from experienced leaders.
You want to build a long-term career in Product Management.
This Is Not the Right Role If
You wait to be told what to do.
You forward emails instead of owning the outcome.
You miss follow-ups or need constant reminders.
You prefer routine work over solving new challenges.
You avoid accountability when things go wrong.
You think "good enough" is good enough.
You dislike learning new tools or adopting AI in your daily work.
You want a job with minimal ownership and responsibility.
How to Apply Apply with your resume and send a link to a short video note answering below questions: Describe a product you helped develop or launch.
Tell us about a challenging supplier or vendor issue you solved.
How do you use AI tools in your daily work?
If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and building products that customers love, we'd love to hear from you.
