Position: Procurement Specialist / Procurement Engineer – Program Management

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement professional with Power Plant experience and good knowledge of Program/Project Management. The candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, vendor coordination, commercial negotiations and ensuring timely availability of materials/services in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for power plant projects.
- Identify, evaluate and develop suitable suppliers/vendors.
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and evaluate quotations.
- Conduct commercial comparison and support price/contract negotiations.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Stores and other departments.
- Track procurement schedules and highlight potential delays.




- Support project/program planning and execution.
- Maintain procurement reports, vendor records and order status.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and timely procurement.
- Resolve vendor-related issues and support project teams.

Candidate Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory experience in Power Plant / Power Generation industry.
- Strong experience in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain.
- Good knowledge of Program/Project Management.
- Positive vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Experience in RFQ, quotation evaluation, PO and expediting.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and preferably SAP/ERP.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory.
- Engineering / Supply Chain / Procurement / Business-related qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
