Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer (.NET) to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise-grade applications for the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C#, .NET , software architecture, and engineering best practices, along with proven experience delivering solutions for Tier 1 or Tier 2 banking organizations .

This role requires a solid technical leader who can drive architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, establish development standards, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using C# and .NET .
- Define application architecture and drive technical strategy for large-scale banking platforms.
- Apply SOLID principles , Design Patterns , and clean coding practices to build maintainable software.
- Lead technical design discussions,



architecture reviews, and code quality initiatives.
- Mentor and guide development teams on engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and enterprise development practices.
- Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, automation, and engineering governance.

Required Skills

- 13+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C# and Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 6+ .
- In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Strong understanding and practical implementation of SOLID Principles .
- Extensive experience with Design Patterns and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience designing distributed, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
