Accountant – Audit Background

Location: Kuwait

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a robust background in professional audit firms such as EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, or an equivalent organization.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the restaurant or F&B; industry, with strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), payroll, and reconciliations.
Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
Monitor and control food costs, inventory, wastage, and branch financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage vendor payments.
Maintain effective internal financial controls.




Support and coordinate with external auditors during audit activities.
Ensure accurate and timely accounting records and financial reporting.

Requirements
5+ years of accounting experience.
Previous experience in a skilled audit firm such as EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of IFRS.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or Odoo.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent English communication skills.
F&B;/restaurant industry experience is preferred.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
