We are looking for a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to safely transport goods to designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries and proper vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a valid commercial driving license, a strong safety record, and a skilled attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Drive company trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials.
Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
Follow all traffic rules and company safety policies.
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documents.
Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.
Coordinate with the dispatch and warehouse teams for loading and unloading.
Ensure all delivery documents are signed and submitted on time.
Requirements
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
Minimum 2–5 years of truck driving experience.
Positive knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
Ability to travel outstation when required.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading if required.
Good communication and time management skills.
No major traffic violations or criminal record.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of GPS navigation.
Ability to handle delivery documentation.
Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
