Job Description – Purchase & Planning Executive

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Reporting To: Purchase & Planning Manager

Job Summary

The Purchase & Planning Executive will be responsible for procurement, production planning, inventory control, vendor coordination, and ensuring the timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules.
Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Maintain inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Sales, and Finance teams.
Negotiate with vendors for pricing, delivery, and quality.
Update purchase, inventory, and planning data in ERPNext.
Monitor material consumption and prepare purchase/planning reports.
Ensure timely procurement while optimizing inventory costs.

Qualifications
B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical/Industrial/Production),



MBA (Operations), B.Com, or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in Purchase, Planning, or Supply Chain.

Skills Required
Knowledge of procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
Hands-on experience with ERPNext (preferred) or other ERP software.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
Solid negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

Production plan adherence.
Inventory accuracy and stock availability.
Vendor delivery performance.
Purchase cost optimization.
ERP data accuracy and timely reporting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
