Job Title: Engineer IT Infra– Compute - Linux

Location: Kochi

Main Responsibilities

Linux Server Workplace:
Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, or similar role
Robust knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
Familiarity with the installation and configuration of web servers (e.g., Apache2, Nginx, Tomcat).
Familiarity with security tools and protocols (e.g., SELinux, iptables).
Proficiency in command-line interfaces and shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
Experience in applying system patches and updates to maintain security and system integrity.
Solid understanding of Linux file systems and basic networking concepts.
Develop and implement backup strategies to safeguard critical data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
RHCE or RHCSA certification is preferred.

Good to have:
Understanding of various cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
Configure / Maintain virtualization platforms – vSphere ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V and others

General Responsibilities:




Maintain a definitive library for OS, Applications, product guides, device firmware, etc.
Maintain and update configuration documents
Maintain assets and software license/subscriptions
Vendor coordination and support
Maintain SLAs and do timely escalations.
Report all incident/service/change requests in the helpdesk tool.
Provide after-hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
