Job Title – Swimming Coach
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective training programs based on swimmers’ skill levels and goals
Teach proper swimming techniques, stroke mechanics, starts, and turns
Monitor progress, provide feedback, and adjust training plans accordingly
Ensure a secure swimming setting by enforcing pool rules and safety standards
Maintain discipline and follow child safety and protection guidelines
Prepare students for competitions and manage participation
Maintain records of attendance, progress, and performance
Coordinate with parents, school staff, and management
Stay updated with modern coaching practices
Conduct dryland training sessions when required
Qualifications
Experience as a swim coach, instructor, or competitive swimmer
CPR,
First Aid, or Lifeguard certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Coaching certification preferred
Experience working with children or in a school setup preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and guide students
Education
B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed / D.P.Ed (preferred)
Recognized swimming coaching certification
