Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services
Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, including importers/exporters
Promote services such as air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service contracts
Negotiate rates with clients and coordinate with operations/pricing teams
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and payments

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
2–5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
Solid knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms,



and customs procedures
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications
Existing client base or industry contacts
Experience with air and ocean freight pricing
Knowledge of local and international trade regulations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
New business revenue generated
Number of new clients acquired
Customer retention rate
Shipment volume (TEUs / tonnage)
Profit margins per shipment

Work Workplace
Office-based with regular client visits
May require travel for client meetings and business development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹29,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
