Job Summary The Truck Dispatcher serves as the primary operational link between truck drivers, freight brokers, and customers. This role is responsible for planning routes, negotiating freight rates, securing loads, and ensuring the timely and safe delivery of cargo while maximizing profitability for the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Load Management: Actively monitor load boards to find, negotiate, and book profitable freight for available trucks.

Route Planning: Schedule driver routes and itineraries, taking into account traffic, weather, distance, and delivery windows.

Driver Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers on the road.

Dispatch assignments, provide routing assistance, and troubleshoot issues like breakdowns or delays.

Broker & Customer Relations: Maintain explicit, professional communication with freight brokers and shippers regarding load status, delays, and delivery confirmations.

Compliance & Tracking: Ensure drivers adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and safety protocols. Track shipments in real-time and maintain accurate dispatch logs.





Administrative Duties: Collect and organize essential documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Rate Confirmations, and proof of delivery, to ensure seamless billing and invoicing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Negotiation Skills: Ability to confidently negotiate freight rates with brokers to ensure maximum profit per mile.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to handle high-pressure situations with drivers and clients.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), load boards, and GPS tracking software.

Geographical Knowledge: Strong understanding of national routing, mileage calculation, and transit times.

Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple drivers, loads, and schedules simultaneously in a quick-paced environment.

Pay: ₹11,882.88 - ₹45,845.36 per month
