Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
Experience: 2 to 3 Years
Salary: 20,000 to 30,000
Location: Coimbatore
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate procurement and supply chain activities for mechanical materials and equipment.
Review technical specifications, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Support vendor selection, technical evaluation, and supplier development.
Monitor material availability, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, production, QA/QC, and project teams.
Track purchase orders, shipment status, and material dispatch.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Resolve supply chain issues related to shortages, delays, and quality concerns.
Participate in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Maintain procurement and logistics documentation.
Analyze supply chain performance and implement process improvements.
Ensure cost optimization and timely material delivery.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of mechanical materials, equipment, and industrial components.
Understanding of procurement and inventory management processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as:
SAP
Oracle
ERPNext
Microsoft Dynamics
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
Knowledge of vendor management and logistics coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
