Job Description – TGT Science Teacher

Qualification:
B.Sc. in Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology)
B.Ed. mandatory
CTET qualified (preferred for CBSE schools)

Experience:
Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (you can specify 2 years if needed)

Responsibilities:
Teach Science to Classes 6–10 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects and assessments
Conduct practical activities and demonstrations to make concepts easier
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Maintain classroom discipline and create an interactive learning setting
Guide students in assignments, science fairs, and academic competitions
Ensure safety and discipline during lab-related activities
Participate in staff meetings, PTMs and school events
Stay updated with curriculum changes and up-to-date teaching techniques

Skills Required:
Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry & Biology basics
Valuable communication and classroom management skills
Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms (preferred)
