Job Summary:

The Plant HR skilled is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions and initiatives within a manufacturing plant workplace. This role ensures the effective management of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the plant's operational goals while fostering a positive and productive work culture. The Plant HR Manager acts as a strategic partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, talent management, compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and administer HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate guidelines and local labor laws, ensuring compliance and fairness.
Manage all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and promoting a positive work environment.
Lead recruitment and staffing efforts for all plant positions, from hourly production roles to supervisory and technical staff, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive pay structures and effective communication of advantages to employees.
Oversee performance management processes,



including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans, to foster employee growth and accountability.
Identify training and development needs for plant employees and leadership, coordinating and facilitating relevant programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO), conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to promote a secure working workplace and ensure adherence to safety protocols and incident reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR information systems (HRIS) records, preparing reports and analyzing HR metrics to support decision-making.
Provide guidance and coaching to plant management on HR-related issues, leadership development, and organizational change initiatives.
Manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and communication strategies to enhance morale and retention.
