Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based onboard SAGA, supporting the Woodfibre LNG (WLNG) Project in the Squamish area, BC. Positions available for Sous Chefs, First Cooks, Second Cooks, Third Cooks, and Stewards.

Cooks will plan and prepare daily menus, handle food production, ensure proper presentation, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the galley. They will manage inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and coordinate with team members to deliver timely meals for guests and crew. Stewards will support dining room operations, set up and clear service areas,



assist with food service, and maintain cleanliness in kitchens, pantries, and accommodation areas.

All team members are expected to follow company procedures, comply with health and safety regulations, and contribute to a positive, service-oriented environment in a marine setting.

Qualifications

- Professional culinary skills, including knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and menu execution appropriate for First, Second, and Third Cook roles.
- Experience in hospitality or food service operations, including stewarding, table service, and maintaining dining and kitchen cleanliness.
- Robust understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and occupational health and safety practices, ideally in marine or remote environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate within a multicultural, shift-based team.
- Relevant culinary or hospitality training or certification; prior experience on ships, offshore floatels, or remote work camps is an asset.
- Good communication skills, professional demeanor, and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality service to guests and crew.
