Role Description This is a full time remote role for a PLC Automation Engineer. The PLC Automation Engineer will design, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems for industrial and mechanical processes, ensuring reliable operation and integration with existing equipment.

Daily tasks include developing and modifying control logic, configuring field devices, performing remote diagnostics, and resolving automation issues in collaboration with on-site teams. The role also involves documenting control strategies, preparing technical reports, supporting project commissioning, and providing guidance on system improvements and safety standards.



The engineer will work with cross-functional colleagues and clients to deliver solutions on schedule while adhering to quality and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Process Control skills to diagnose issues and optimize system performance.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Automation skills to design, program, and integrate PLC-based control systems.
- Candidates should possess Robotics and related automation skills to support robotic cell configuration, programming, and maintenance.
- Candidates should have experience with PLC programming environments (e.g., ladder logic, function block, structured text) and industrial communication protocols.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid understanding of industrial safety standards and best practices in control system design.
- Candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Candidates should be self-directed, able to manage multiple remote projects, and willing to continuously learn new tools and technologies.
