Job Summary
Your role: Bring your specialist knowledge and experience to a company managing 50% of the world's MIPS and play a critical role in our modernization mission. In this role, you'll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you'll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable up-to-date cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe's core data.
Responsibilities
Maintain Performance: Prevent decay and find efficiencies: Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance.
Debug and Test: Find and fix: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.
Develop for the Future: Bridge the gap: As an instrumental player in modernization,
you'll extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
Required Skills & Experience
Robust hands-on expertise with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Robust knowledge of container technologies, container setup, and orchestration platforms.
Advanced experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipeline implementation and release automation.
Running test cases for automation validation.
Proven experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs and custom automation modules.
Strong scripting and automation development skills in: PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python
