JMeter (for API performance)

Preferred Skill sets.
Design, develop, and execute test cases for REST/SOAP APIs.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools like:
Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, REST Assured, Karate, JMeter (for API performance)
Validate REST/SOAP API responses using Assertions for payloads, status codes, headers, and schema structures.
Build and manage Postman/API collections to support automated and manual test workflows.
Positive knowledge of JSON, XML, XPath, XSD, and schemas.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs.
Knowledge of SQL and ability to validate backend data.
Create and maintain API automation scripts using industrystandard tools.
Work closely with developers, BAs, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
