MyT Plus is focused on extending therapeutic care beyond traditional therapy sessions. Under the guidance of licensed therapists, MyT Plus builds AI digital surrogates that mirror each therapist’s unique approach, voice, and therapeutic style. These AI surrogates aim to maintain continuity of care between sessions, foster ongoing engagement, and support meaningful progress for clients.
The team combines expertise in mental health and technology to deliver safe, effective, and personalized therapeutic experiences.
Role Description The AI/ML Engineer will work on designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models that power MyT Plus’s digital therapeutic surrogates. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, design, and clinical teams to translate therapeutic requirements into scalable technical solutions, and will be responsible for evaluating models using appropriate statistical methods, improving performance, and deploying solutions to production. This is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in computer science and algorithms,
with the ability to design effective, scalable solutions.
Background in applied machine learning, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment to production environments.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in office in Bengaluru, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and follow responsible AI practices.
Experience in NLP, conversational AI, or healthcare/mental health technology is a plus.
Must have
You have actually trained, fine-tuned, and evaluated custom models with
a specific model, dataset, loss, and result you can walk us through
(Calling an LLM API or building a RAG is not this role)
Familiarity with model optimization and serving frameworks
What you'll work on
Deploying custom-trained models on AWS Bedrock and elsewhere
Model optimization and serving
Building monitoring, logging, retraining and evaluation workflows
Self-hosted inference on NVIDIA GPUs
Post-training open models with appropriate tools
