To teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in the areas of Management and Commerce, engage in high-quality research, participate in curriculum development, and contribute to the academic and institutional development of the department.
Key Responsibilities:Teaching and Instruction:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars across a range of courses in management and commerce (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Marketing, HRM, Business Strategy, Organizational Behavior).
Prepare course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with the curriculum.
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
Research:
Conduct individual or collaborative research in relevant areas of management or commerce.
Publish papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
Present research at academic conferences and seminars.
Apply for research grants and funding.
Academic Administration:
Assist in curriculum design and development.
Participate in departmental and faculty meetings.
Mentor students academically and professionally.
Serve on academic or institutional committees.
Professional Development and Outreach:
Engage with industry professionals for guest lectures, internships,
or placement opportunities.
Attend workshops, seminars, and training for skilled growth.
Contribute to community outreach or continuing education programs if applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in Management, Commerce, or related discipline (mandatory or as per UGC norms).
NET/SET qualification (as per UGC guidelines) preferred.
MBA/M.Com with a robust academic record.
Experience:
Prior teaching experience preferred (especially in higher education).
Industry experience in relevant fields may be considered a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Robust analytical, research, and organizational skills.
Ability to engage students and create a dynamic learning environment.
Proficiency in online teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
