Purpose Of The Position As a AGM Contracts, you’ll be Part of core team and ensure that execution team is given required resources with regards to materials & service contracts to ensure project is driven as per Management aspirations with regards to cost, time & quality with primary focus on COST
Key Responsibilities
Finalize the requirements from Projects team / site execution team.
Negotiation with contractors & preparation of Comparative Statement for management review.
Negotiating the terms of contracts whenever required
Verifying correctness of quantity of various items involved in any tendering process from available schematic drawings for ensuring that on account of errors in computing quantity, the cost does not change dramatically in the final execution.
Agreeing budgets and timescales & other terms with contractor.
Managing construction schedules and budgets.
Vendor Analysis in terms of quality of work, financial background, manpower & other strengths / weakness.
Attending site meetings to monitor progress
Value Engineering in terms of Cost, Quality, Time and Tax optimization
Dispute Resolution if any grievance is raised from the site
Setting method for settlement of extra and deviation items.
Negotiation with contractors and issuing amendment orders / deviation orders.
