Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
Create and execute UI, API, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End test cases.
Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Automate REST APIs using Playwright or REST Assured.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Perform cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements.
Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
Maintain automation reports and improve test coverage.

Preferred candidate profile
5+ years of experience in Software Testing/Automation.
Robust hands-on experience with Playwright.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience in UI and API Automation Testing.
Valuable understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
Experience with Git and version control.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Robust SQL knowledge for database validation.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
