Job Title: Business Development Executive (Paint Industry – Chennai)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Business Development Executive to strengthen our B2B customer base in the paint and coatings industry. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the paint field, preferably within the market, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and manage new B2B clients in the paint, coatings, and manufacturing sector.
Generate leads through market research, cold calling, industry visits, and networking in the Chennai, Hosur and Coimbatore region.
Maintain robust relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams (Production, QC, Logistics) to ensure timely delivery and service.
Prepare and present quotations, commercial proposals, and technical product details.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
Conduct market analysis, competitor tracking, and identify potential growth prospects in the paint market.
Visit customer sites for product demonstrations, sample collection, and follow-ups.
Maintain proper sales reports, customer database, and update CRM/Excel sheets regularly.




Participate in exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events related to the paint and coatings industry.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales in the paint / coatings industry (mandatory).
Prior field sales experience in market (mandatory).
Robust understanding of industrial paint customers, OEMs,and distributors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage field activities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).

Education
Any Degree / Diploma (Technical background in Paint Technology / Chemical / Polymer / Mechanical is an added advantage).
