Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance and technical development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing finance reports, extracting data from Oracle Fusion ERP, and working extensively with Oracle Fusion database tables, subject areas, and financial modules. The candidate should possess strong technical skills along with a good understanding of finance business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts for Oracle Fusion Finance.
- Develop BI Publisher reports, OTBI reports, and Oracle Fusion Analytics reports based on business requirements.
- Create and optimize SQL queries using Oracle Fusion transactional tables and views.
- Develop integrations and data extracts using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, HDL, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), where applicable.
- Work closely with Finance users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot report issues, optimize report performance, and ensure data accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between Oracle Fusion modules and reporting outputs.
- Participate in technical design discussions and recommend best practices for reporting and integrations.
- Prepare technical design documents, deployment documents, and knowledge transfer documentation.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.

Required Technical Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle ERP/Fusion technical development.
- Strong experience with:
- Oracle BI Publisher
- OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Oracle Fusion Reporting Framework




- Oracle Fusion Data Model
- Good understanding of Oracle Fusion database tables and relationships.
- Experience developing:
- Financial Reports
- Operational Reports
- Custom Data Extracts
- XML Publisher Reports
- Experience with Oracle Fusion security concepts related to reporting.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is an added advantage.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, FBDI, and HDL is preferred.

Functional Knowledge Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Financial modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Expenses
- Procurement-to-Pay (P2P)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)

The candidate should have working knowledge of:
- Financial reporting structures
- Chart of Accounts (COA)
- Ledger and Legal Entity setup
- Accounting Periods
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Journal Entries
- Trial Balance
- Financial Statements
- Intercompany Accounting
- Financial Close processes

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Oracle Fusion Technical Certification is preferred.
- Experience working in implementation, enhancement, or support projects.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud upgrades and quarterly release management is an advantage.
