A cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service. Common job responsibilities include:
Greeting customers in a friendly and skilled manner.
Scanning and processing purchases accurately.
Receiving payments by cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, or checks.
Issuing receipts, refunds, exchanges, and change.
Balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintaining accurate records of transactions.
Assisting customers with questions about products, prices, and promotions.
Packaging purchased items when required.
Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Reporting cash shortages, overages, or technical issues to the supervisor.
Following company policies on cash handling, security, and customer service.
Supporting other store operations, such as restocking shelves or inventory checks, when needed.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
