Role & responsibilities
Should have proficiency in configuring and administering Commvault components (Media Agents, CommServe, clients etc.
Manage and monitor daily operations of the Commvault Backup tool to ensure successful backups and recoveries.
Able to schedule, configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs across physical, virtual, Desktop backup, D2D, object storage, cloud-based infrastructures & Tape Library.
Perform root cause analysis of failed jobs and implement corrective actions promptly.
Perform periodic updates, patching and upgrades of the Commvault Backup system.
