About the Role

Chai Days is looking for a passionate and experienced Continental Chef to join our Production Team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing high-quality continental dishes, maintaining food consistency, and ensuring excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes as per company recipes and standards.
Develop and improve menu items based on customer preferences and seasonal trends.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and minimize food wastage.
Coordinate with the procurement team for ingredient requirements.
Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Follow all SOPs, health, and safety regulations.
Support the kitchen team during peak business hours.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a café, restaurant, hotel, or cloud kitchen.




Solid knowledge of continental cuisine, sauces, grilling, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast preparations.
Knowledge of food costing, portion control, and inventory management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts is preferred.

Time management and multitasking.
Attention to detail.
Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
