Responsibilities: Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines (OD/ID grinding). Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Select appropriate grinding wheels, fixtures, and tooling.
Perform precision grinding operations to achieve required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as micrometres, vernier calipers, dial gauges, and bore gauges.
Ensure proper alignment and balancing of grinding wheels. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Identify defects and take corrective actions. Maintain production records and job documentation.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work workplace (5S).
