- Lead and manage the complete day-to-day logistics and transportation operations.
- Ensure smooth, efficient, and timely movement of vehicles, goods, and consignments.
- Plan and monitor operations to achieve business, service, and profitability targets.
- Establish and implement operational SOPs, processes, and control systems.
- Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, deployment, and productivity.
- Ensure proper vehicle scheduling and route planning.
- Monitor vehicle breakdowns, maintenance, fitness, permits, insurance, and documentation.
- Reduce vehicle idle time, turnaround time, and operational delays.
- Coordinate with the fleet and maintenance teams for timely resolution of vehicle issues.
- Oversee trip planning, vehicle allocation, dispatch, loading, unloading, and delivery.
- Ensure proper trip documentation and timely closure of trips.
- Monitor trip status through tracking/GPS systems.
- Ensure timely submission and verification of trip sheets, PODs, fuel records, toll records, and other documents.
- Identify and resolve delays, route deviations, and operational issues.
- Manage drivers, supervisors, fleet executives, trackers, and other operational staff.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment according to operational requirements.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, discipline, productivity, and compliance.
- Ensure drivers follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews with the operations team.
- Maintain robust relationships with key customers and understand their operational requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of customer transportation commitments.
- Handle operational complaints, escalations, and service-related issues.
- Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle placement, delivery schedules, PODs, and service requirements.
- Monitor operational costs including fuel, tolls, maintenance, driver expenses, loading/unloading, and other trip-related expenses.
- Identify unnecessary expenses and implement cost-saving measures.




- Monitor fuel efficiency, mileage, trip profitability, and vehicle operating costs.
- Coordinate with Accounts for trip settlement and expense verification.
- Monitor all vehicles through GPS/tracking systems.
- Ensure proper tracking of vehicle movement from dispatch to final delivery.
- Monitor route deviations, stoppages, unauthorized halts, and delivery delays.
- Prepare daily operational reports and exception reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, road safety, and company regulations.
- Ensure all vehicles have valid permits, fitness certificates, insurance, pollution certificates, and other required documents.
- Implement and monitor driver safety standards.
- Take preventive measures to minimize accidents, damages, theft, and operational risks.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operations MIS.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as:
- Vehicle utilization
- On-time delivery
- Fleet productivity
- Fuel efficiency
- Trip turnaround time
- Vehicle downtime
- Empty running
- Trip profitability
- Customer complaints
- Present operational performance and improvement plans to senior management.
- Build and lead a strong operations team.
- Define KRAs/KPIs for operational employees.
- Train and develop team members to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and coordination across departments.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop systems to improve vehicle utilization, delivery performance, and customer service.
- Standardize operational processes and documentation.
- Introduce technology and automation wherever beneficial.
- Coordinate closely with Accounts, HR, Fleet/Maintenance, Sales, and Management.
- Ensure smooth flow of information between operations and support departments.
- Coordinate with Accounts for billing, trip settlement, transporter payments, and outstanding operational documents.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, manpower planning, attendance, and employee performance.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
