We are seeking a skilled OCP Deployment Engineer to manage and deploy OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) versions 4.14 and 4.16, involving migration from VMware infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

- Deploy and configure OCP versions 4.14 and 4.16.
- Plan and execute migration of applications from VMware to OCP on bare metal, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot migration issues, perform compatibility checks, and ensure seamless transition without data loss.
- Create, manage, and monitor OCP clusters, ensuring they meet scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and security patching for OCP clusters.
- Conduct performance tuning for OCP clusters and applications.
- Troubleshoot networking, storage, and load-balancing issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Document deployment processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and stakeholders as needed.




- 3+ years of experience in OCP deployment and management, specifically with versions 4.14 and 4.16.

Technical Skills

- Robust understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with VMware, Dell storage solutions, and load balancers.
- Familiarity with network configurations, storage options, and load balancing for high availability setups.

Certifications

- Red Hat OpenShift certification (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift) preferred.
- VMware certification (e.g., VCP-DCV) is a plus.
