Role Description This is a part-time, remote Online Tutor role focused on supporting K–12 students in core academic subjects.

The Online

Tutor will conduct live, virtual tutoring sessions, following school-approved curricula and Edunara’s instructional guidelines to reinforce key concepts and build skills.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, adapting explanations to different learning styles, monitoring student progress, and providing timely feedback to students and, when needed, school staff. The tutor will maintain accurate session records, use Edunara’s online platforms and tools effectively, and participate in periodic training and coaching to maintain high instructional quality. Consistent attendance, qualified communication,



and adherence to program schedules and standards are expected.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter knowledge in one or more K–12 areas (Mathematics) and ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
- Experience with online teaching or tutoring platforms and comfort using video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and learning management tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, culturally responsive interaction, and the ability to build rapport with diverse learners.
- Organizational skills for planning lessons, managing time across sessions, and documenting student progress accurately.
- Commitment to student-centered learning, growth mindset, and the ability to adjust instruction based on data and feedback.
- Prior tutoring, classroom teaching, or academic support experience in K–12 or similar settings is preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet and professional workspace, and proficiency in standard productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
- Bachelor’s degree, current enrollment in a degree program, or equivalent experience in education, tutoring, or a related academic field is highly beneficial.
- High-speed internet connection (wifi), personal computer/laptop, pen-tablet/stylus.
