Role Description The Nursing Tutor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Nursing

Tutor will plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and clinical teaching sessions aligned with the nursing curriculum. Daily responsibilities include guiding students in developing clinical competencies, supervising practice in hospital and community settings, and providing individualized academic support and mentoring.



The tutor will participate in assessment and evaluation of student performance, maintain accurate academic records, and contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement in nursing education. The role also involves promoting ethical practice, professional values, and a service-oriented attitude among students.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Nursing and Nursing Education skills, with sound theoretical knowledge and clinical competence.
- Candidates should possess effective Tutoring and Lecturing skills to facilitate classroom and clinical learning.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, patients, and families.
- Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution, with valid professional registration.
- Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to student-centered teaching, evidence-based practice, and continuous professional development.
- Experience in academic or clinical teaching, curriculum delivery, or mentorship in nursing education will be an added advantage.
