Role Description The Nursing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing day-to-day nursing operations in homecare settings. This role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient assignments, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
The Nursing
Supervisor monitors patient care plans, supports complex or critical cases, and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Responsibilities also include mentoring and training nurses, conducting performance evaluations, managing documentation and compliance, and addressing patient and family concerns professionally. The role requires active participation in quality improvement initiatives, efficient resource management, and maintaining transparent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Nursing and Patient Care, with experience in delivering compassionate, evidence-based clinical services.
- Candidates should possess skills in Nursing Management, including team supervision, workload planning, and adherence to nursing protocols and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and, where applicable, Critical Care Medicine, to support decision-making in complex homecare cases.
- Relevant nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate nursing council.
- Prior experience in supervisory or charge nurse roles, ideally within home healthcare, hospital, or critical care settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Ability to manage emergencies, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
