North Indian & Chinese All-Rounder Chef

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking North Indian & Chinese All-Rounder Chef to join our hotel and restaurant kitchen team.

The candidate should be skilled in preparing a variety of North Indian and Chinese dishes and should be comfortable handling day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic and positive-quality North Indian dishes including curries, gravies, dal, paneer, tandoori items, rice, roti, etc.
- Prepare popular Chinese dishes such as noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, chilli paneer/chicken, soups, etc.
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion sizes.
- Handle food preparation, cooking and plating as per orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff during busy hours.




- Manage kitchen work independently when required.
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
- Follow hotel/restaurant food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist in maintaining proper stock and inform management about required ingredients.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in North Indian and Chinese cuisine.
- Good knowledge of Indian gravies, tandoori items, breads and Chinese preparations.
- Ability to handle both la carte and bulk orders.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
- Hardworking, disciplined and reliable.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred

- Experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort or highway restaurant.
- Ability to independently manage the North Indian & Chinese section.
- Knowledge of food costing, portion control and minimizing wastage will be an advantage.
