At Applix, we're building the Manufacturing Operating System that powers the next generation of intelligent factories. We're looking for a hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the engineering platform that enables developers and business technology teams to build, deploy, and operate secure, reliable software at scale.

This is more than a traditional DevOps role. You'll serve as the technical bridge between central IT, software engineering, and business technology teams—translating enterprise requirements into scalable platform capabilities, automation, and self-service infrastructure.

What You'll Do
Design, build, and operate cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Administer Linux and Windows settings.
Support Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads.
Implement secure identity, access management, networking, and secrets management.
Build monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, and operational automation.
Partner with IT, engineering,



and business teams to standardize platforms and improve developer productivity.

What We're Looking For
5–10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Robust Linux and Windows administration.
Experience with Azure and hybrid infrastructure; AWS and/or GCP experience is a plus.
Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Docker and Kubernetes.
CI/CD platforms including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
Identity technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, SSO, IAM, and secrets management.
Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have
Enterprise or multinational IT experience.
GitOps.
VMware or Hyper-V.
Observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
