Position: EHS Executive / EHS Officer

Job Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular plant safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Perform Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and incident investigations.
Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks (TBT), and employee safety training programs.
Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Maintain EHS documentation, legal registers, and compliance records.
Coordinate internal and external EHS audits (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
Prepare emergency response plans and conduct mock drills.
Monitor hazardous waste handling, ETP operations, pollution control, and environmental compliance.
Ensure timely statutory inspections and renewal of EHS-related licenses and certifications.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR, and Engineering departments to promote a safe working environment.
Maintain EHS KPIs, safety reports, and compliance dashboards.
Procure safety equipment and ensure availability of PPE and emergency response equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
Coordinate medical check-ups, first aid arrangements, and occupational health activities.
Government Liaisoning & Compliance (Mandatory)
Experience in Government Liaisoning and Compliance is mandatory.
Liaise with government authorities such as MPCB, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Department, Pollution Control Board, and other statutory authorities.
Handle statutory approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, and regulatory documentation.
Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech Chemical Engineering or Diploma/Bachelor's Degree with ADIS or equivalent EHS qualification.
36 years of experience in EHS within a Chemical Manufacturing Company.
Hands-on experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, safety audits, HIRA, PTW, incident investigation, and hazardous waste management.
Solid knowledge of statutory EHS requirements.
Government Liaisoning and Compliance experience is compulsory.
Valuable communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP/SAP will be an added advantage.
