Role & responsibilities
Provide patients and attendants with detailed estimates of treatment and hospitalization costs.
Explain billing procedures, payment methods, insurance coverage, and package details.
Counsel patients regarding financial obligations before admission, during hospitalization, and at discharge.
Assist patients in understanding and completing financial documents and consent forms.
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details.
Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients for approvals and authorizations.
Educate patients regarding exclusions, co-payments, deductibles, and non-payable expenses.
Monitor approval status and communicate updates to patients and internal stakeholders.
