Role Description The Nebosh IGC Tutor (freelance) will deliver high-quality remote instruction to learners enrolled in the NEBOSH International General Certificate program in a part-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering online lessons, explaining key health and safety concepts, guiding learners through course materials, and preparing them for NEBOSH assessments. The tutor will provide academic support through doubt-clearing sessions, tutorial discussions, and constructive feedback on assignments and exam practice.

Additional tasks may include developing or refining teaching resources, aligning content with NEBOSH requirements,



and collaborating with the training and placement team to support learner progression and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in occupational health and safety, with in-depth knowledge of NEBOSH IGC syllabus and examination requirements.
- Demonstrated teaching, coaching, or training experience, ideally in adult education or professional certification programs.
- Proficiency in delivering virtual classes using online learning platforms, with the ability to engage and support remote learners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Relevant professional certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH IGC or higher, IOSH Membership), and a robust record of practical industry experience.
- Ability to plan lessons, manage time effectively in a part-time freelance role, and maintain accurate learner records and progress reports.
- Comfort with using digital tools for content sharing, assessment, and feedback; familiarity with e-learning best practices is an advantage.
