Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Teach Music to students as per the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in vocal and instrumental music.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Assess students' musical abilities and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain records of student attendance, assessments, and performance.

Music Training & Performance
- Train students in vocal music, instrumental music, rhythm, melody, and music theory.
- Prepare students for assemblies, annual functions, cultural programs, and competitions.
- Develop school choir, band, and music clubs.
- Identify and nurture talented students in music and performing arts.
- Organize rehearsals and practice sessions for events and performances.

Student Development
- Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence among students.
- Promote appreciation of Indian and international music traditions.
- Foster discipline and dedication through music education.
- Guide students participating in external music competitions and events.

Event & Activity Management
- Coordinate music-related activities during school functions and celebrations.
- Assist in planning and conducting Annual Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, and other cultural programs.
- Support inter-house, inter-school, and district-level cultural competitions.

Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain music instruments,



equipment, and inventory records.
- Ensure proper care, storage, and upkeep of musical instruments.
- Prepare reports related to music activities and student achievements.
- Participate in staff meetings, school committees, and institutional initiatives.

Professional Development
- Stay updated with emerging trends and teaching methodologies in music education.
- Participate in workshops, training programs, and professional development activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Music (Vocal or Instrumental) from a recognized University/Institution.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Certification in Music or Performing Arts will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in Music at a reputed school.
- Experience in conducting choir, orchestra, school band, or cultural programs.
- Experience in preparing students for competitions and performances.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of vocal and instrumental music.
- Excellent singing and/or instrumental skills.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Event planning and coordination skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to inspire creativity and artistic excellence in students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
