Job Title: Mobile test automation engineer Department: Testing Factory About Business Line/Function Testing Factory provides software testing services, including manual and automated testing, as well as performance testing. The team ensures quality, reliability, and compliance of applications across BNP Paribas Personal Finance, supporting delivery and transformation initiatives.

Position Purpose

As a Mobile Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our mobile applications. You will design, execute, and manage comprehensive automation strategies across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for both iOS and Android platforms, utilizing a mix of real devices and simulators You will work closely with business, development, and product teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. You will also leverage modern testing practices and tools, including AI-assisted testing approaches, to improve efficiency and test coverage.

Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Analyzing product requirements and specifications.

Creates and upscales an automation framework.

Propose a mobile test automation strategy/plan, facilitating automated scripts, maintenance and design

Design test scenarios and cases ensuring there is traceability back to all business requirements

Maintain existing automation scripts whenever necessary following functional changes for the respective flow/application

Defines requirements for test data Ensures adherence to testing best practices and the Client's testing standards

Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure early detection of defects and provide rapid feedback to development teams

Perform the automated execution results analysis and debug automated test scripts

Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems

Create clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain consistency in testing processes

Perform manual testing activities (25% from the activity) - functional, regression, and exploratory and accessibility testing on iOS and Android device

Prepare manual test deliverables required for all release processes Contributing Responsibilities Collaborate with business, developers, and product owners

Participatein Agile ceremonies

Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices

Support improvements in testing tools and methodologies

Use AI-assisted tools for test design and execution where applicable Technical & Behavioral Competencies 5+ Years of experience in UI Mobile Test Automation on both iOS and Android with the following tech stack: JavaScript,



WebdriverIO, Cucumber, BrowserStack, Allure Proven experience in API automation testing with the following tech stack: REST Assured (Java)or Super-Agent(JS) Hands-on experience with CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitLab Previous experience with manual REST API testing in PostmanorBruno Manual testing in BrowserStack and/ or on-site devices iOS & Android Extensive knowledge of mobile testing concepts, methodologies, tools, and best practices

Extensive experience with test management tools like Octane, Jira Specific Qualifications Experience of planning and executing testing across all layers

Good testing and troubleshooting experience across the software development lifecycle

Good planning, organization, time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple testing effort

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate efficiently with the team (business, developers, PM)
