The Microsoft Relationship
Manager is responsible for owning and growing Supra’s direct Microsoft relationship following our transition to Microsoft Direct (Tier-1) CSP Partner status. This role owns the complete operating rhythm around Partner Center, CSP program compliance, Microsoft Commerce Incentives, co-op/MDF funding, Solutions Partner designations, certifications, co-sell motions, and executive reporting.
The Microsoft Relationship
Manager acts as the bridge between Microsoft, distributors, and Supra’s sales, technical, finance, and leadership teams. The role reports to the Director of Product Management, based in Canada. This is a hybrid role based in India. Delhi NCR or Chennai is preferred; strong candidates from other locations across India will also be considered. As the reporting manager is based in Canada, this role requires regular working-hours overlap with morning EST (approximately 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST).
Key Responsibilities Microsoft Alliance & Relationship Management Act as Supra’s single point of contact for Microsoft – partner development managers, field sellers, and distributor/indirect contacts.
Build and maintain a Microsoft contact map, engagement calendar, and escalation log.
Prepare and run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with Microsoft, including agendas, pre-reads, action trackers, and follow-ups.
Represent Supra in Microsoft partner events, program briefings, and community forums.
Partner
Center & Direct CSP Operations Own day-to-day Partner Center administration: user access, role assignments, benefits activation, program enrollments, and support tickets.
Ensure ongoing compliance with Microsoft Direct CSP (direct-bill) requirements, including revenue thresholds, support plans, and security requirements (MFA, GDAP, CPOR/PAL associations).
Manage relationships and commercial terms with distributors and Microsoft for licensing motions, including New Commerce Experience (NCE) transitions. Incentives, Funding & Rebates Own end-to-end management of Microsoft Commerce Incentives: enrollment, eligibility, claims, documentation, payout tracking, and finance reconciliation.
Identify and capture co-op/MDF funds, workshop funding, and other Microsoft partner investments.
Maintain an incentives and funding tracker with clear visibility of earned, claimed,
pending, and missed amounts. Designations, Certifications & Enablement Drive progress towards Solutions Partner designations and specializations across Modern Work, Security, Azure, and Business Applications as applicable.
Maintain the certification tracker and internal skilling calendar; coordinate monthly sales and technical enablement for Modern Work, Security, Azure, Copilot, licensing, and Partner Center workflows.
Work with delivery and HR teams to plan certification paths that protect designation renewals. Co-sell & Go-to-Market Manage co-sell readiness: referrals, solution listings, marketplace presence, and Microsoft field alignment.
Track co-sell opportunities, campaign activity, solution plays, and Microsoft-funded customer workshops.
Partner with sales leadership to convert Microsoft programs into pipeline and revenue.
Executive
Reporting & Governance Maintain a concise monthly executive dashboard and action tracker covering, e.g.: Incentive earnings, claims, and payout status.
Solutions Partner designation and partner capability score progress.
Certification and enablement completion.
Co-op/MDF funding utilization.
Co-sell pipeline and referral activity.
Open Microsoft actions and escalations.
Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in the Microsoft partner ecosystem – partner/alliance management, partner programs, CSP operations, or vendor management at an MSP, CSP, LSP, distributor, or Microsoft itself.
Hands-on experience operating a Microsoft CSP practice; direct-bill (Tier-1) experience is strongly preferred.
Proven track record of managing incentives, funding, and designation programs with measurable results.
Microsoft Program Knowledge
Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Partner Center, the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, Solutions Partner designations, and specializations.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Commerce Incentives, co-op/MDF, CPOR/PAL, co-sell, and marketplace programs.
Solid grasp of Microsoft licensing (CSP/NCE) and the Modern Work, Security, Azure, and Copilot portfolios.
Soft Skills
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and executive-presentation skills.
Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel / Power BI) with disciplined documentation and follow-through.
Self-driven owner’s mindset – comfortable running a cadence, chasing actions, and working across time zones.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
