Front End WordPress Developer (Permanent/Contract)

About the Role
We're looking for a front end-focused developer with robust WordPress expertise to join a fully remote contract role. This is an initial 8-week engagement with genuine potential for extension, ideal for a freelancer or contractor looking for their next project to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain websites and web applications primarily on WordPress
Develop responsive, high-quality front end interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, and Tailwind CSS
Contribute to React and Next.js projects where required
Support backend functionality using PHP and/or Node.js
Collaborate with the wider team to deliver clean, performant,
and maintainable code
Requirements
Essential: Strong, hands-on WordPress development experience
Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
Experience with Tailwind CSS
Working knowledge of React and Next.js
Familiarity with PHP and/or Node.js
A solid front end focus with an eye for detail and user experience
A portfolio of previous projects is highly desirable
