Position Summary

Responsible for sheet metal forming simulations using PAMSTAMP to support product development, tooling design, manufacturability assessment and production issue resolution for automotive components.

Key Responsibilities
Develop forming simulation models in PAMSTAMP.
Perform meshing, material card assignment and load case setup.
Conduct forming, thinning, wrinkling, failure and springback analysis.
Validate simulation results against tryout and production data.
Support die design, tooling optimization and manufacturing issue resolution.
Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations.
Collaborate with design, tooling, manufacturing and supplier teams globally.
Drive continuous improvement and simulation best practices.

Stainless steel forming (1–3 mm thickness)
CATIA V5
SAP GPDM / PLM systems
Automotive manufacturing experience
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
