Skill: GCP, Cloud SQL,Cloud spanner,GCP NoSQL/In-Memory: Cloud Bigtable (with app profiles), Firestore, Memorystore (Redis/Memcached)

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Location: Chennai, Ahmedabad

Technologies: GCP Relational: Cloud SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), Cloud Spanner (multi-region / global scaling), AlloyDB for PostgreSQL

GCP NoSQL/In-Memory: Cloud Bigtable (with app profiles), Firestore, Memorystore (Redis/Memcached)

Legacy Enterprise: Bare Metal Solution (BMS) for Oracle

Migration/CDC: Google Cloud Database Migration Service (DMS), Datastream

AI Integrations: pgvector (Cloud SQL/AlloyDB) and Spanner Vector Search

Must Have: Excellent communication and customer-handling skills, Deep DBA expertise (High Availability/HA, Disaster Recovery/DR, PITR backup, and restore)



Hands-on performance tuning (analyzing query execution plans, identifying locks, bottlenecks, and database resource contention) .Familiarity with GCP Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and setting up exact alerting policies for CPU/Memory utilization and database replication lag

Positive to Have: Experience with GCP database migration projects (homogeneous and heterogeneous database dialect conversions) . Configuring secure connectivity, firewall rules, VPC peering, and Cloud KMS (Customer-Managed Encryption Keys) . Certification: Google Cloud Skilled Cloud Database Engineer (Highly Preferred) or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE)
