Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse in a corporate tiles company. This includes managing inventory, coordinating with logistics, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring productive storage and dispatch of tile products. The role requires maintaining a high level of organization and safety to meet company standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and productive workflows.
Supervise the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of tiles and related products.
Monitor the layout of the warehouse to optimize space utilization and ensure proper organization of inventory.
Inventory Control
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and assist with monthly or annual physical inventory audits.




Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory is available and prevent shortages or excesses.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to reorder stock as needed and ensure timely replenishment.
Staff Supervision and Training
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including loaders, packers, and forklift operators.
Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and adherence to company policies.
Provide training to staff on proper handling of tile products, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Quality Control and Safety Compliance
Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, ensuring products meet company standards.
Oversee the quality control of tile products before dispatch to minimize damage and customer complaints.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working setting for all warehouse personnel.
Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
