Role Description The MBBS Education Counselor will provide end-to-end guidance to students aspiring to pursue MBBS programs abroad. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam, involving daily interaction with students and families to understand their goals, explain suitable countries and universities, and clarify admission, eligibility, and financial requirements.

The counselor will assist with application preparation, document verification, and coordination with partner universities, as well as guide students through scholarship and visa processes in collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities also include conducting informational sessions, maintaining accurate student records, following up on application status,



and contributing to student success stories and referrals. The role requires proactive communication, adherence to ethical counseling standards, and close collaboration with colleagues to ensure a high-quality counseling experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge, especially in MBBS and medical education pathways.
- Candidates should possess skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students on academic choices, career outcomes, and country options.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including transparent spoken and written communication in English and local languages as applicable.
- Candidates should possess the ability to build trust, show cultural sensitivity, and maintain a student-centric, ethical counseling approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; exposure to overseas education processes or MBBS admissions is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.
- Comfort working with digital tools (CRM systems, email, online meeting platforms) and basic MS Office or similar applications.
- Previous experience in overseas education consultancy or student advisory services is an advantage.
