Role Description The Material MDG Specialist at Avansi Solutions is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and validating material master data within MDG and related enterprise systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

Daily activities include reviewing material requests, analyzing data quality issues, coordinating with materials management and inventory teams, and implementing data governance rules and workflows. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support material handling processes, optimize inventory control, and improve materials-related reporting.



The role also involves documentation of procedures, participation in system enhancements, and support for testing and user training related to material master data.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to review, validate, and optimize material master data and related business processes.
- Proficiency in materials management and materials handling, with an understanding of material flows and warehouse or plant operations.
- Experience in inventory control and materials management, including tracking, classification, and reconciliation of materials.
- Knowledge of Material Master Data Governance (MDG) concepts and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow standardized procedures and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, procurement, and IT teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in MDG or ERP systems are an advantage.
- Prior experience in materials or master data roles within manufacturing, logistics, or technology services is preferred.
