Role Description The Market Development Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amreli, responsible for expanding the market presence of Asia Fertimax India LLP’s crop nutrition solutions. This role involves regularly visiting farmers, distributors, and retailers to promote products, conduct field demonstrations, and provide technical guidance on stage-wise nutrition programs.

The Market Development

Officer will gather market intelligence, track competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities in assigned territories. They will conduct training programs, farmer meetings,



and field days to increase awareness and adoption of the company’s technologies. The role also includes achieving sales and growth targets, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and preparing periodic reports on market performance and customer feedback.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of agriculture, crop physiology, and plant nutrition, preferably supported by a degree in Agriculture or related field (B.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture).

Experience in field-level agricultural marketing, market development, or sales, ideally within crop nutrition, fertilizers, or agri-inputs.

Ability to conduct in office product demonstrations, farmer training sessions, and technical advisory visits, with practical problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging farmers, distributors, and other stakeholders, with basic proficiency in local language and English.

Strong organizational and reporting skills, including territory planning, data collection, and preparation of market and performance reports.

Capability to work independently in rural and semi-urban field conditions, with willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Basic computer skills for documentation, presentations, and communication; familiarity with MS Office or similar tools is beneficial.

Prior experience in the Amreli region or understanding of local cropping patterns and farming practices is an added advantage.
