Role Description The Marine Tech Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. This role supports the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Orion Marine Concepts’ maritime software solutions for ship and shore operations. The associate collaborates with marine and technical teams to understand operational workflows, translate user requirements into system configurations, and assist in resolving application-related issues.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, providing user training, documenting processes, and supporting inspections and performance monitoring activities enabled by the company’s ERP and INSPECTNAU platforms.

Associate also contributes to continuous improvement by gathering feedback from vessel and shore users and coordinating with the development team to enhance system functionality.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills and knowledge in Marine Operations and Maritime practices relevant to ship and shore environments.

Candidates should possess familiarity with Navy or naval standards and procedures, where applicable to commercial or specialized marine operations.

Candidates should possess practical experience with Boat handling, vessel systems, or onboard operational workflows.

Candidates should possess the ability to deliver Training, including user onboarding, product demonstrations, and operational guidance.

Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, or a related technical discipline.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex operational processes and translate them into system requirements.

Comfort with technology, including enterprise software, databases, and basic data analysis; prior experience with maritime ERP or inspection software is an advantage.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vessel staff, and shore-based stakeholders.

Willingness to work in an on-site environment in Gurgaon and, when required, coordinate with global clients across time zones.
