Role Description The Marine Surveyor will perform full time, on-site duties in Mumbai, conducting inspections and surveys of vessels, cargo, and related marine infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing vessel condition, verifying compliance with relevant standards and regulations, documenting findings in clear technical reports, and recommending corrective actions where necessary. The role involves coordinating with P & I club, shipowners, operators, insurers, port authorities, and other stakeholders to schedule surveys, gather information, and resolve technical issues.

The Marine

Surveyor will also analyze damage claims, support risk assessments, and contribute to safety and quality improvement initiatives within the marine operations handled by the company.





Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Inspection and Marine Survey, with the ability to conduct thorough, methodical assessments and produce accurate survey reports.

Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in the Marine Industry and Vessel Operations, including familiarity with standard operating procedures, safety practices, and regulatory frameworks.

Candidates should be holding marine licenses 2nd officer/ 3rd Engineer or equivalent.

Candidates should possess foundational understanding or formal training in Naval Architecture, enabling effective evaluation of vessel structure, design, and performance.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related maritime discipline are preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications are required.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare explicit, objective reports and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work independently on-site, adapt to varying field conditions, and maintain high ethical and safety standards.

Prior experience as a marine surveyor, inspector, or in shipboard or port operations will be an advantage.
