The Manager – Strategy & Financial Analysis will sit at the intersection of finance, strategy and business, working directly with senior leadership to convert data and market intelligence into decisions. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for someone who enjoys building financial models from a blank sheet, telling a sharp story on a slide, and being trusted to run analysis end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Modelling & Analysis

· Build and maintain financial models — three-statement, DCF, return, unit-economics, capacity and project-finance models — to support planning, capital allocation and strategic decisions.

· Analyse business performance across the group's business units and geographies by creating relevant templates: monitor revenue, margin, cost and working-capital trends, and proactively flag extraordinary patterns, anomalies or inflection points that warrant management attention.

· Translate numbers into insight— move beyond reporting to explain the 'why' behind the trend and quantify its impact and options.

2. Strategy & Business Development

· Prepare strategy and CXO-level presentations on market sizing, competitive landscape, growth opportunities and business cases, tailored for senior management and board audiences.

· Develop business proposals and partnership decks for new markets, products, customers and channels, including commercial structuring and supporting economics.

· Conduct market and industry research on the specialty chemicals value chain — demand drivers, competitors, pricing, feedstock and end-market trends — to inform strategy.

3. M&A; & Strategic Opportunities

· Evaluate M&A;, JV and inorganic opportunities end-to-end: screening, valuation, synergy assessment, deal structuring and preparation of investment notes for leadership.

· Support financial due diligence and coordinate with advisors, target teams and internal stakeholders through the diligence and evaluation process.





· Assist on capital-raising workstreams— supporting materials, analysis and data-room preparation as required.

4. Cross-functional & Ad-hoc

· Partner with business-unit and functional leaders to gather inputs, pressure-test assumptions and drive analyses to conclusion.

· Take on other strategy, finance and special-project work relevant to the role as priorities evolve — this is a broad mandate, not a fixed job.

Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Qualification & Experience

· Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), or BTech MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.

· Experience: 2–5 years in equity research, financial due diligence, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate strategy or a comparable analytical role.

· Domain exposure: prior experience in or exposure to manufacturing or chemical industries is preferable

Skills & Competencies

· Advanced Excel: strong financial-modelling skills — complex formulas, scenario/sensitivity analysis and clean, auditable model architecture.

· Advanced PowerPoint: ability to build crisp, executive-grade decks with robust visual storytelling and design sense.

· Analytical rigour & creativity: structured problem-solving combined with the creativity to frame problems and craft compelling narratives.

· Communication & presentation: excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence and clarity to present directly to senior management.

· Ownership & drive: self-driven, self-starter who delivers high-quality output under minimal supervision.

· Deliverable under pressure: comfortable working to strict deadlines and managing multiple priorities without compromising quality.

· Attention to detail: high standard of accuracy in numbers, logic and presentation.

· Commercial & business acumen: connects financial analysis to real business and market context.

· Mobility: open to domestic and international travel as required by the role.
